Concerto for Piano, Jewels and Minds in the Spirit of Frédéric Chopin
Katerina Belkina participates in this extraordinary international art project with her artwork “For Degas” — a visual meditation on movement, elegance, and introspection. The project pays tribute to the romantic spirit of Frédéric Chopin, blending fine art, music, and the craft of contemporary jewelry into a singular, multidimensional experience.
At its heart lies Chopin’s Concerto in E minor, a piece of deep emotion and poetic subtlety. Artists from around the world have been invited to create unique jewelry pieces inspired by this music. Their works will be presented alongside a live performance by pianist Kamila Sacharzewska, premiering during the 80th Duszniki International Chopin Piano Festival in August 2025, followed by additional international venues.
“Ornamentum Humanum” is a celebration of the human spirit — its beauty, sensitivity, and creative force — expressed through form, sound, and imagination. The exhibition will be accompanied by a printed catalogue and a live recording of the premiere performance.
