To mark Art Rotterdam, on Thursday 9 February Kunsthal opens the exhibition ‘HUMAN/DIGITAL: a symbiotic love affair.’ This visual spectacle with art on large screens, digital compositions, video projections and spatial work in a beautiful black box design is one that you shouldn’t miss. ‘HUMAN / DIGITAL’ presents the crème de la crème of artists on the cutting edge of digital art from the collection of Hugo, Carla and Mark Brown. This family of collectors has an extensive art collection 'Cobra to Contemporary ‘, which is now also focusing on collecting contemporary digital art.
Dutch artists, including Rafaël Rozendaal, Constant Dullaart, Geert Mul and Anne De Vries play an important role in the development of digital art internationally. For the first time in The Netherlands ‘HUMAN / DIGITAL’ shows more than thirty works by these and other leading artists in the field of digital, Post Internet and Virtual Reality art to a wide audience.
